RRCC Service Society

Our Purpose

The Red Rocks Service Society acknowledges, supports, and rewards students who serve the campus and local communities by volunteering. Volunteerism facilitates personal development, experiential learning, and the exploration of career options. All RRCC students who volunteer are encouraged to participate in the RRCC Service Society.

It’s easy to participate

  • Each month, students will ask their supervisors to email the Experiential Learning Services office with verification of their volunteer hours. The email will include the name of the organization, the supervisor’s name, and the number of hours the student worked that month. Email to Careerconnect@rrcc.edu.
  • Don’t know where to volunteer? Visit the Volunteer Opportunities page at http://www.rrcc.edu/volunteer to view many of our non-profit partners. Need more ideas? Email us at for an appointment, or stop by the Experiential Learning Services office, room 1264 in the Learning Commons.
  • The time frames for collecting volunteer hours are January 1 – June 30, and July 1 – December 31.
  • After 40 hours of documented volunteering, students will receive a shirt with the RRCC logo/ Service Society.
  • A certificate with the number of hours (40 or more) will be given to each student.
